Gold, silver price today, September 26, 2024: Yellow metal records dip, silver trades higher on MCX

Precious metals showed mixed trends in the Indian markets today. Gold is trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) while silver prices have recorded a hike on Thursday, September 26.
Gold futures, maturing on October 4, 2024, stood at Rs 75,234 per 10 grams, after recording a dip of Rs 79 or 0.10 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 75,313.
Meanwhile, silver futures, due on December 5, 2024, witnessed a hike of Rs 70 or 0.08 per cent and were retailing at Rs 92,115 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 92,045.
